Our Mission is to create authentic, boundary-breaking Jewelry that empowers self-expression

At Our Core

Meet The Founders

Founded in Cairo in 2011 by Jude Benhalim and her mother, Rana El Azm, Jude Benhalim is an independent design house built around material, form and the process of making. Our work explores sculptural form through unexpected material combinations, bold silhouettes and pieces that challenge conventional ideas of jewelry.

What began with jewelry has grown through years of experimentation with metal, resin, stone and texture. Each collection starts with an idea, but takes shape through the hands of our team: drawing, sculpting, forming, polishing and assembling every piece in our workshop in Cairo.

We make things slowly, and we make them by hand.

Beyond Jewelry

After fifteen years of making jewelry, our design language has naturally moved into the home.

The same materials, hands and techniques now take on a different scale through objects for living: candle holders, vessels, trays and sculptural pieces.

For us, this is not a departure from jewelry. It is an extension of the same process.

We are still exploring how metal meets resin, how an object occupies space, how it feels to hold, use and live with something made by hand.

Our Commitment

Making by hand encourages us to think carefully about what we use, what we keep and what we leave behind.

Our commitment to sustainability is part of the way we work. We incorporate responsible and recycled materials where possible, reuse and repurpose unused materials, and design with longevity and versatility in mind.

For us, responsible making is an ongoing process rather than a finished statement. It means making conscious decisions about materials, production and waste while continuing to learn how we can make better.

All Jude Benhalim pieces are handcrafted with love using locally sourced materials and time-honored skills.

We promote mindful consumption and multi-wear. We design jewelry that is functional and interchangeable, to suit every style and trend.

Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship sits at the center of everything we do.

Our pieces are designed and made in-house by a team of skilled artisans, using techniques developed and refined over years of working together. Metal is shaped and finished by hand. Resin is mixed, formed, dyed and polished individually. Stones are set one by one.

The process leaves room for variation. No two handmade pieces are entirely identical, and we see that as part of their character.

Our approach brings precision and instinct together. We work closely with the materials, allowing their weight, texture and movement to influence the final form.

Material is often where a Jude Benhalim piece begins.

Our Fashion Jewelry is crafted in brass and finished in either 21k gold or rhodium, often paired with our custom-made resin stones and semi-precious stones.

Our Fine Jewelry line is made in 925 sterling silver, finished in rhodium or 21k gold.

Resin has been part of the Jude Benhalim language since the early years of the brand. Each stone is created by hand in our workshop, giving us the freedom to develop our own colors, shapes and finishes for every collection.

The contrast between materials is intentional: polished and raw, solid and translucent, precious and unexpected.
